Boys & Girls Club Afterhours Teen Program

The Afterhours Teen Program at the Boys & Girls Club of Binghamton offers City youth late-night programming on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 to 11 p.m. Programming includes sports, games, music, arts, fitness and field trips. 

In 2016, Mayor Richard C. David announced the City would allocate $97,000 to extend the hours of the Boys & Girls Club of Binghamton, providing teenagers an appealing, safe and supportive space to spend their Friday and Saturday nights.

Mayor David's administration has continued  to invest in the afterhours programming ever since. In his 2019, Mayor David announced the City would invest $45,000 to keep the center open later. He also pledged $20,000 in funding to support Teen Center programming, including comprehensive homework help and tutoring, internships and volunteer opportunities, and useful workforce experience.
