(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) — The City of Binghamton will host a public meeting to discuss plans for safety improvements along the Main Street corridor on Tuesday, July 2 at 6 p.m. at Binghamton High School’s Helen Foley Theatre, 31 Main St. in Binghamton.
A meeting information flyer is attached.
The City secured a $2.7 million federal grant in 2016 to study and implement safety improvements on Main Street, from Front Street to the Johnson City line. Barton & Loguidice, who has been conducting the study, will give a presentation at Tuesday’s meeting, answer questions from the public and solicit input.
Due to construction at Binghamton High School, the courtyard entrance on Oak Street will be closed. Attendees should use the Oak Street entrance closer to Main Street. Parking is available in the school’s parking ramp, located under the athletic deck on Front Street.
