A Local aw Amending The City of Binghamton Code Chapter 45, Binghamton Human Rights Law.

The purpose of this Local Law is to amend Chapter 45, Binghamton Human Rights Law, of the Code of the City of Binghamton to add unhoused status as a protected class. Any person interested and desiring to be heard with reference thereto will be given the opportunity on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 4:00pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 38 Hawley Street, Binghamton, New York. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Mayor’s Office prior to the public hearing. Persons with disabilities who require assistance should contact the undersigned to request such assistance. A full copy of the Local Law is available for inspection in the Office of the Mayor.
