The City of Binghamton Examining Board of Plumbers was established under provisions of Chapter 310, Article I, § 310-2.

The Board is responsible to meet at regular stated intervals; conduct of examinations; formulate rules; and collect examination fees.

Licensed Plumbers

Members

The Board is comprised of five municipal residents who are appointed by the Mayor and who are compensated for their services.

In accordance with Chapter 310, Article I of the Code of the City of Binghamton, the Board of Examining Plumbers consists of five members to be appointed by the Mayor, of whom one and only one shall be an employing or master plumber, and one and only one shall be a journeyman plumber. Each member of said Board shall be a citizen of the United States and an actual resident of the City of Binghamton.

* If a member has not been re-appointed, he/she may continue to serve until dismissed or replaced. Continuing to serve without re-appointment or filing a vacancy does not change the expiration of that Numbered Positon.

Meetings

Meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 1:30pm, unless otherwise noted below.

Meetings are held in the 2^nd Floor Atrium at City Hall.
