The Planning Commission is a seven-member commission comprised of local community members tasked with reviewing Special Use Permits and Site Plans for consistency with the standards and criteria set forth in the Zoning Code.

In accordance with Chapter 18, Article V of the Code of the City of Binghamton, the Mayor of the City of Binghamton may appoint the members of the Planning Commission, subject to the approval of City Council.

Meetings
Planning Commission meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 5:15pm, unless otherwise posted.
Meetings are held in City Council Chambers at City Hall.
